These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of rivetkin.com and any purchase from Rivetkin. By visiting the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Online store terms

You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or use the Site with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use the Site or our products for unlawful purposes or violate applicable laws.

2. Handmade products

Rivetkin pieces are handmade in small batches. Natural variations in wood grain, color, patina, hardware, texture, and facial expression make each object unique and are not defects. Product photographs and screen colors are illustrative; the delivered piece may vary slightly.

Some products contain small components, metal hardware, points, hooks, or moving decorative parts. They are not toys and should be kept away from young children and pets. Follow any care or safety information supplied with the product.

3. Product information and availability

We try to describe products, prices, dimensions, materials, and availability accurately, but may correct errors, update information, limit quantities, or discontinue products without notice. We may cancel or limit orders placed in error, affected by suspected fraud, or unavailable for fulfillment. If we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount charged.

4. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to purchase. An order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance; acceptance occurs when we dispatch the order or otherwise confirm fulfillment. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing, shipping, and contact information. Prices and available payment methods are shown at checkout. Applicable shipping charges, taxes, and duties are added as described at checkout or in our Shipping Policy.

5. Custom and made-to-order work

Custom, commissioned, personalized, and made-to-order items may require additional processing time. Once design approval, material preparation, or production has begun, cancellation or return rights may be limited as explained in our Refund Policy and applicable law.

6. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy. Returns, cancellations, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. These policies form part of these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content—including the Rivetkin name, robot characters, artwork, product designs, photographs, text, graphics, and logos—are owned by or licensed to Rivetkin and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial shopping only. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or exploit our content or designs without prior written permission.

8. Reviews, feedback, and submissions

If you submit feedback, photographs, reviews, or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringing. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use and display the submitted content in connection with our business, subject to applicable privacy law.

9. Prohibited uses

You may not interfere with the Site, introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data, attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, submit false information, violate intellectual property rights, or use the Site for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

10. Third-party services and links

The Site may rely on or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, social networks, and shipping carriers. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or practices. Your use of those services may be governed by separate terms.

11. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rivetkin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising from use of the Site or products. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim. Mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rivetkin and its service providers harmless from claims and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Site, breach of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights, except where prohibited by law.

14. Severability and waiver

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where Rivetkin is established, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country. Courts with lawful jurisdiction over Rivetkin’s place of establishment will hear disputes unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. Changes apply from the posted effective date and do not retroactively alter completed purchases unless required by law.
